Starting at a cricket academy in Kathmandu in 2014, Sagar progressed into Nepal's age-group pathway. A breakthrough 5/18 in the ACC U-19 Eastern Region Championship Final (2019) established him as a specialist bowling talent.
He made his senior T20I debut against Oman and his ODI debut against PNG in early 2022. Beyond international duties, he is a match-winner for Nepal Police Club in domestic competitions.
In the Nepal Premier League, he was secured by the Pokhara Avengers for NPR 15 Lakh as a Category A player, underlining his immense franchise value and relevance.
