Dev's journey began in Bhumikasthan, Arghakhachi, and has progressed through youth cricket to senior international representation in both ODI and T20I formats.
He made his ODI debut for Nepal in 2022 and became the fastest Nepali player to reach two ODI half-centuries, doing so within his first four matches.
As captain of Nepal's U19 side, he led the team to the Super Six stage of the 2024 U19 Cricket World Cup—an early leadership credential that extends beyond the boundary.
